摘要 An air bag module for a driver's seat using spring force engagement is provided to stably maintain the engagement of a cover and a housing even under an explosive impact force and a high pressure of a gas. An air bag module(100) for a driver's seat using spring force engagement includes a cover(110), an air bag(120), a retainer(125), a housing(130), a retainer spring(140), and an inflater(150). The cover is coupled to a front surface of a steering wheel of the driver's seat. The air bag is expanded by a gas supplied from the inflater to protect a driver. The retainer inserts the air bag thereinto to locate the air bag at an inner side of the cover. The housing is fixed to the cover to prevent separation of the retainer from the cover. The retainer spring(140) extends to the front, rear, right, and left sides by the pressing operation to be engaged with a hook(114) passing through a housing by the pressing operation of the retainer spring due to a bolt engagement of the inflater. The entire retainer spring forms a closed curve. A hook engaging section(142) engaged with the cover hook is formed on the front side of the retainer spring. An inclined pressing section(144) is integrally formed with the rear side of the retainer spring.
