An apparatus for discharging a transportation article of a conveyor and a method of discharging the same are provided to parallelly align the transportation article on a support frame. An apparatus for discharging a transportation article of a conveyor includes a base frame(17), a guide frame(20), a stopper(42), and a sensor(50). The base frame is installed at a front part of the conveyor. The base frame supports the guide frame, the stopper, and the sensor. The base frame is formed of a metal material to securely support the guide frame. The guide frame supports both ends of a bus bar moving along a belt of the conveyor. The stopper is installed at one side of the base frame. The stopper prevents the bus bar from being separated from the guide frame. The sensor is installed at one side of the base frame. The sensor is installed at a position of the base frame corresponding to a distal bent part of the stopper.
