PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet bowl with a sterilizing function attaining safe and reliable sterilization. SOLUTION: A nozzle 2 of a private part washing device 4 provided at a toilet bowl body 1 and jetting wash water to human body private parts from a jet hole 3 of the axially advancing/retreating nozzle 2 to wash the private parts, is provided with a sterilizing light for sterilizing the inside of the toilet bowl. The sterilizing light is formed of an ultraviolet LED 5, and the ultraviolet LED 5 is provided rotatably around the axis of the nozzle 2. The nozzle 2 is provided with a plurality of ultraviolet LEDs 5. The nozzle 2 is formed of an inorganic material not degraded by ultraviolet rays. A part of a toilet cover 6 for opening/closing an upper opening 9 of the toilet bowl body 1 is made transparent, and the transparent part 7 is provided with a phosphor. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
