<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stick-shape member with a visual acuity symbol allowing a user to easily confirm the visual acuity of near vision by oneself. <P>SOLUTION: This stick-shaped member 1 is, for example, a chop stick piece 4a constituting one of chop sticks 4, has a visual acuity test symbol 2 used for the visual acuity test in the vertex side in its one side, and has a grip part 3 to be grasped with a hand in a chop stick tip side in the other side.
