<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a GPS reception notification device capable of confirming the reception status of GPS data even during working. <P>SOLUTION: A control microcomputer 21 takes out positioning status information from GPS data received from a GPS reception part 12 and transmits it to a reception status detection part 23. The reception status detection part 23 creates a notification signal according to the reception status of the GPS data detected from the positioning status information and transmits it to a notification means selection part 24.
