PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair cosmetic excellent in conditioning property, capable of suppressing scalp odor and excellent in color and odor of the hair cosmetic after a lapse. SOLUTION: The hair cosmetic comprises (A) a cationic surfactant, (B) a 12-24C higher alcohol, (C) a highly polymerized dimethylpolysiloxane represented by general formula (1) (wherein, n is 650 or more), (D) a water-soluble polymer compound, (E) polylysine and/or a salt thereof and (F) one or more organic acids selected from monocarboxylic acids and dicarboxylic acids.
