<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an order management system and an order management method, securing safety of image data stored in a storage medium, and overall managing history information related to a plurality of storage media owned by one possessor. <P>SOLUTION: Individual identification information corresponding to the storage medium M (basic information) is stored in association with subject identification information for identifying the owner of the storage medium M, and the history information of order information instructed to the image data stored in each the storage medium is stored in association with the subject identification information.
