<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake control apparatus for a vehicle capable of ensuring the high braking force by amplifying the brake fluid pressure generated by a predetermined brake fluid pressure generation source when braking the vehicle, and reducing the load when generating the brake fluid pressure in the brake fluid pressure generation source. <P>SOLUTION: A brake control apparatus for a vehicle comprises a pressure amplifying device which reduces the quantity of brake fluid generating a first brake fluid pressure in a first conduit by the predetermined value, and increases the brake fluid pressure applied to a wheel braking force generation means to the second brake fluid pressure by using the quantity of the brake fluid reduced by the predetermined value, and transmits the brake fluid pressure to the wheel braking force generation means, and a fluid quantity increasing means for increasing the quantity of the brake fluid from a brake fluid source having the brake fluid pressure smaller than the first brake fluid pressure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
