PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein a stand-by bus configuration is previously subjected to a communication test, so that its operation can be ensured when it is switched to an active bus configuration when the bus configurations operate as a duplex bus configuration where an active bus configuration and a stand-by bus configuration are each independent in a system having two or more different bus configurations; and the operation can be ensured when the single bus configuration is switched, but the operation can not be ensured until a switching operation is completed when a switching operation is carried out between the active bus configuration and the stand-by bus configuration and between the stand-by bus configurations. SOLUTION: Actual data and test data are switched by the test data sending circuit and selector of a sending side, test data are sent to the liaison unit of the stand-by bus configuration, and the test data are checked by the test data check circuit of a receiving side even when the system is in operation, whereby the normality of the duplex bus configuration system can be ascertained at the liaison unit which connects the bus configurations together.
