A ridge ground cover placed on a ridge between rice fields or a ridge between fields to prevent weed growth comprising a flexible cover body, a fixing protrusion part to be driven into the ground and a band to promote absorption of a heat-retaining cover is provided, which reduces herbicide application, prevents collapse of the ridge by a plowing implement and flying away with a wind. The weed inhibiting ridge ground cover(1') is manufactured by attaching non-woven fabric or heat-retaining covers(2) to a flexible cover body(1'') and comprises: the flexible cover body made of rubber material, chemical products, metal material or rubber; a band(5) at the lower end part of the cover body to prevent wind resistance and promote absorption of the heat-retaining cover; a rubber edge at the connection part of the ground cover to cover a necessary area of a ridge between rice fields or a ridge between fields; and one or more fixing protrusion parts(3) attached to one side of the cover body to be driven into the ground. The ground cover is used by attaching non-woven fabric or heat-retaining covers to the cover body.
