<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of preventing an operator from having uncomfortable feeling by automatically determining whether the operator accurately sets a photographic film holder with a photographic film set at an optimum position, and its control method. <P>SOLUTION: The image processor includes the photographic film holder for mounting a photographic film, a reading original platen for setting the photographic film holder at a prescribed position, a read processing part for reading the photographic film and generating image data, and a display part for notifying the operator of a state of the image processor. The image processor has a position determining means for determining whether the photographic film holder is set at the prescribed position of the reading original platen, and a warning means for giving a warning to the operator through the display part when it is determined that the photographic film holder is not set at the prescribed position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
