<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pointing device capable of designating a point precisely without causing erroneous operation of switching due to influences of external factors, such as residual magnetism and temperature, or position shift due to cursor movement or the like. <P>SOLUTION: In the pointing device 11 provided with a point designation part 12 having a magnetic field generation member and a plurality of magnetic field detection parts 21 and 22 arranged with the point designation part 12 as a center, the respective magnetic field detection parts 21 and 22 comprise a pair of magnetoresistive elements in which detection directions generating from the point designation part 12 are opposite to each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
