[Also in Divisions H1 and H3] The specification describes releasable fastenings for a push button unit. When a button 11 is pushed in a stop strip 27 on a stop slide 26 engages a transverse groove 23 to hold the button in. To adjust the waveband each button has four different recesses 24 and adjusting notches 25, one on each side and an indicating mark 31 is provided corresponding to the position of the notches 25. By rotating the button to the required waveband and then pressing it the slot 24 and notch 25 cause a cam 28 to move the slide 26 laterally to operate a band change over switch 29, 30. Each button 11 may be pulled out to adjust via gearing 15, 16 a potentiometer 14. In a modification (Figs. 4 and 5, not shown), the button pressed is held by a spring biased stop plate (72) which engages a stop flange (70) at the end of the button. |
