<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-based ink for inkjet recording, capable of yielding a good printing or image without any disturbance in the printing. <P>SOLUTION: The water-based ink for inkjet recording comprises a water-insoluble vinyl polymer particle and a liquid component, wherein the water-insoluble vinyl polymer particle contains a colorant.
