PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent duplicate writing in backup of digital camera image by a simple method. SOLUTION: The file processor (e.g., printer) comprises an identification means for identifying a file recorded in a storage medium (memory card) of a backup source with a file recorded in a storage medium (CD-R) of a backup destination; and a means for excluding a file identified by the identification means from the object of backup. The identification means identifies files of the same file name based on whether headers of the files (Exif headers) are same or not.
