METHOD FOR PRODUCING A FIBROUS COMPOSITE STRUCTURE

The invention relates to a method for producing a fibrous composite structure, in particular a motor vehicle body part, wherein a fibre layer section (4) is applied to a deforming injection moulding tool and is deformed when the tool is closed, and subsequently the tool cavity (3) is filled with the injection moulding compound and the fibrous composite structure is removed from the mould after the injection moulding compound is hardened. The aim of the invention is to produce a method which enables rational, accurately sized mass production without waste and which is technologically simple, enabling the fibre insert to be cut in such a manner that after the tool is closed, a edge-sided gap (6) remains free between the fibre insert and the tool cavity, which is filled with the injection moulding compound prior to the subsequent injection moulding step, and that the fibre insert is fixed in position in the tool cavity by at least one advancing disk (8), which is returned to the tool closed position before the tool is closed.
