<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent clogging of a catalytic converter 6, in an exhaust emission control device 5 for cleaning exhaust gas emitted from an internal combustion engine. <P>SOLUTION: The exhaust emission control device includes the catalytic converter 6 disposed to an exhaust gas flowing passage, and a rotating brush 7 rotatably disposed on an exhaust gas introduction part 6a side of the catalytic converter 6 and sweeping/cleaning the exhaust gas introduction part 6a. By rotating the rotating brush to sweep/clean the exhaust gas introduction part 6a with a brush 13, deposit adhered on the exhaust gas introduction part 6a is removed, so that accumulation of the deposit is prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
