The invention comprises compounds of formula <FORM:1020300/C2/1> where R1, R2, R3, R4, R5 and R6 represent hydrogen, C1-7-alkyl, C1-7-carbalkoxy, C1-7-haloalkyl, phenyl, (C1-7-alkyl) phenyl, nitrophenyl, halophenyl, cyanophenyl, methoxyphenyl, sulphamoylphenyl, methylthiophenyl, carbalkoxyphenyl, carbamoylphenyl, N-methylcarbamoylphenyl, benzyl or naphthyl; R7 and R8 represent C1-7-alkyl, phenyl, C1-7-alkoxy or mono- or di-(C1-7-alkyl) amino; Q and Z represent oxygen or sulphur; and n is 0 or 1, with the proviso that when R7 and R8 are alkoxy, at least one of R1 to R6 is carbalkoxy, haloalkyl, benzyl or naphthyl. They are prepared by reacting in the presence of an acid acceptor, a compound of formula <FORM:1020300/C2/2> with X-P(Z)R7R8, X being halogen. The compounds of Formula II may be prepared by reacting an appropriate mono- or dithiol with a cyanogen halide, preferably in the presence of an acidified alcohol catalyst.
