<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve a problem in a conventional file handling device wherein collective file handling cannot be carried out since secrecy of data is guaranteed in folder units. <P>SOLUTION: The file handling device is provided with a folder unit handling information storage part storing one or more pieces of folder unit handling information having first use limit information and a first folder identifier being information identifying a folder stored with one or more original files, and a use limit setting part providing one or more set files having second use limit information being information relevant to a use limit, and information regarding main part data of a corresponding original file, by using the first use limit information being a pair with the first folder identifier, with respect to the one or more original files existing in the folder identified by the first folder identifier of the folder unit handling information.
