PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller bearing for mounting a wheel which prevents or suppresses the generation of stick-slip phenomenon for a long time and is not damaged by the replacement of the wheels. SOLUTION: A groove 3d with a rectangular cross section for storing grease L is annularly formed in an area for surrounding a bolt fitting hole 3c on a mounting level face 3p in a hub unit 2. The total two grooves 3d are concentrically arranged around an axial line O as seen from the outer side of a vehicle. The grease L is filled into the groove 3d when a brake disc rotor and a tire wheel are mounted on the mounting level face 3p of a hub flange 3b. The grease L stored and held in the groove 3d is gradually exuded to the mounting level face 3p of the hub flange 3b and lubricates the whole surface of the mounting level face 3p which is a contact part of the hub flange 3b and the brake disc rotor.
