<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve security of data files in a file management system. <P>SOLUTION: The file management system includes; a plurality of electronic devices 6 which are mutually connected via a field bus 5 and have digital data storage areas; and a control device 3 which is connected to the field bus 5, distributes and stores data files in the storage areas of at least two of the electronic devices 6, and restores the data files by collecting data file fragments stored in the storage area of each of the electronic devices 6 in response to a request for the restoration of the data files.
