PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for providing a dust collecting part to an air conditioner itself and a method for using an existing household vacuum cleaner in the air conditioner for collecting sucked dust in air to a predetermined location. SOLUTION: The air conditioner is equipped with a fixed duct at the upper part of the air conditioner, and a drive device for reciprocating a movable nozzle along a filter close to the air inflow side face of the filter. The upper end of the movable nozzle is connected to the fixed duct slidably the right and left directions while the communicated state of the movable nozzle and the fixed duct is maintained. An air discharge part 25 connected to the fixed duct 15 is provided with a suction fan and a dust collecting box.
