PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a a liquid crystal panel by which UV sealing materials can efficiently be cured. SOLUTION: The UV sealing materials 6 are laminated facing a frame layer 24. A photo conductive member 11 is provided between the UV sealing materials 24 provided across a dividing line 5 of a large-sized glass substrate 4, and ultraviolet light emitted from the side of a large-sized glass substrate 25 being a counter substrate 21 is reflected by the photo conductive member 11 to be guided to an end surface 6a of the UV sealing material 6. Thus, the end surface 6a of the UV sealing material 6 is irradiated with the ultraviolet light L and the UV sealing material 6 is uniformly cured with the ultraviolet light to stick the substrates together. A liquid crystal layer 29 can be prevented from being contaminated with the UV sealing material which is not cured and dissolved out into the liquid crystal layer 29. Even a liquid crystal panel 1 such that the frame layer 24 corresponds to a narrow frame can be manufactured in high yield with high quality. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
