PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a core shroud supporting device allowing easy installation/removal of a core shroud without a special tool and fixture. SOLUTION: The core shroud supporting device installed inside a reactor pressure vessel 1 comprises a flange section 18 sandwiched between a shroud 2 and a shroud head 14 and fixed and fastened to the shroud 2 with a bolt 23 for connecting the shroud 2 and the shroud head 14 and a shroud supporting section 19 protruding further horizontally beyond the flange 18. Thus, the shroud supporting device for suppressing horizontal movement of the shroud 2 can be installed inside the core without need of welding work inside the core. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
