PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sonic velocity measuring device capable of correcting the sonic velocity value of an inspected object to a normal value. SOLUTION: A transducer 14 radiates ultrasonic waves toward a living tissue 21 by pulse excitation, receives a reflected wave from the living tissue 21, and converts it into an electric signal. An XY stage 15 two-dimensionally scans the irradiation point of the ultrasonic wave. A CPU 31 determines the thickness of the living tissue 21 based on the reflected wave from the front surface and back surface of the living tissue 21, and determines the sonic velocity of the living tissue 21 based on the thickness. The CPU 31 corrects the sonic velocity value of a measured point to be corrected using the sonic velocity value of a measured point around the measured point to be corrected.
