<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system which does not allow condensed water to influence the fuel cell body, by removing the condensed water from a gas supply passage into the outside air, when water condensation is generated inside the supply passage. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system comprises a fuel gas supply passage 20 for supplying fuel gas to a fuel cell 10 and an oxidant gas supply passage 30 for supplying oxidant gas to the fuel cell 10, where condensed water capturing bodies 40 for capturing water condensed in the supply passage are placed in the supply passages, respectively. Furthermore, exhaust passages 22, 32 are set below the condensed water capturing bodies 40 respectively, to keep the captured condensed water and to exhaust it to the outside air. Preferably, the exhaust passages 22, 32 have solenoid valves 23, 33 as opening and closing means. Auxiliary gas supply passages 24, 23 are mounted on the exhaust passages 22, 32, and the auxiliary gas supply passages 24, 23 are supplied with a humidifying gas which is the same as the gas flowing in the supply passages 20, 30 but is set higher only in pressure, and prepares for pressure changes in the supply passages 20, 30, when the opening and closing means (solenoid valves) 23, 33 are opened. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
