<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat insulation cable box for protecting various cables, e.g. information transmission cables such as communication cable and optical fiber cable and power cables, effectively against external factors such as fire. <P>SOLUTION: A heat insulation air layer 12 is formed on the inside of a metal pipe 11 as an outer pipe, a heat insulation material layer 13 is formed on the inside of the heat insulation air layer 12, and a space 14 for containing cables is provided in the heat insulation material layer 13.
