<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular steering assistance device capable of improving steering feeling when a driver intentionally performs turning operation. <P>SOLUTION: When a steering direction of a steering wheel by a driver is coincident with a direction of a curve of a traveling lane TL and the driver intentionally increase-operates a steering in the direction of the curve of the traveling lane TL to perform the turning operation, a direction of the steering assistance is forcedly switched from a direction of inherent returning-operation to a direction of increase-operation and steering torque at the steering assistance performing turning so as to increase-operate the steering is given to the steering mechanism of the vehicle.
