PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new circuit for detecting the input voltage that allows fast and accurate detection, while conducting ESD protection. SOLUTION: The input voltage detection circuit is provided with a circuit input terminal; a comparator having first and second input terminals, the first input terminal of the input terminals connected to a reference voltage; a switching circuit, provided between the circuit input terminal and the second input terminal of the input terminals of the comparator, with the switching circuit being provided to protect the comparator from a voltage that exceeds a predetermined voltage at which the switch turns off; and an electrostatic discharge circuit connected to the circuit input terminal to discharge an electrostatic induction voltage that exceeds a predetermined value.
