<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen adsorbent having a large volume and an excellent hydrogen gas absorption capacity. <P>SOLUTION: A substrate 12, a metal salt and an organic compound are added to a solvent to precipitate particles 14 of a complex consisting of an reaction compound of the metal ion and the organic ligand, on the surface of the substrate 12, resulting in formation of a complex-bound substrate 10. Stirring of the complex-bound substrate 10 with a solvent leads to entanglement or bonding of the substrates 10 to form large grains, giving a large-volume hydrogen adsorbent 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
