PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binder for a secondary battery having sufficient adhesion with a metal collector, a positive electrode active material, and a negative electrode active material and improving a high rate discharge characteristic and a recycle property of a secondary battery. SOLUTION: An acid-denaturated composition of a hydrogenated random/block copolymer of an aromatic vinyl compound and conjugated diene includes 5-70 weight% of aromatic vinyl compound.
