PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal polyimide composite having excellent adhesiveness to a metal without through an adhesive layer and having a coefficient of linear thermal expansion of a polyimide equal to that of a metal and to provide a polyamic acid varnish composition obtaining the same. SOLUTION: The polyamic acid varnish composition is obtained as follows. A triazine compound is added into a polyamic acid varnish composed of a polyamic acid prepared by carrying out addition polymerization of an aromatic tetracarboxylic dianhydride with an aromatic diamine and a solvent.
