PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical equipment monitoring system, capable of accurately detecting that the conditions of medical equipment have become abnormal and contributing to improved quality of medical equipment serving patients, by detecting the abnormality in the medical equipment to a nurse call system using a medical equipment monitoring device. SOLUTION: Upon monitoring the medical equipment which issues a warning noise and warning light, at the occurrence of abnormalities or can detect abnormalities by changing the indications of the equipment, when the warning noise and warning light or an abnormal indication is detected at the same time, the medical equipment monitoring system determines that the equipment as a monitoring target becomes abnormal, and notifies the nurse call system of detected abnormality. Upon continuous monitoring of the medical equipment, the medical equipment monitoring system determines whether the nurse call is to be notified again, on the basis of the treatment time of a provided of medical treatment and by the amplified determination for detected abnormality.
