PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multifunctional walking stick in which a position of the walking stick is constantly monitored so that a present position of its user is easily discriminated quickly at any time if necessary, facilitating the arrival of a searcher at the site, in which collision with a vehicle such as a car, motorbike, bicycle, etc., or accidents by bumping with other people can be avoided by the user with a warning light attached to the walking stick and in which, when help is desired, abnormality of the user can be easily and surely noticed by anyone nearby by operating an alarm equipped therewith. SOLUTION: The walking stick is composed of a grip roughly T-shaped in the front and a supporting shaft extended downward from the grip. The walking stick is characterized in that it is equipped with a GPS transmitter (or PHS transmitter), an alarm and a warning light in the grip and that the switch of the alarm is installed in an end edge of the grip.
