A construction structure of a drain-type road is provided to drain off a large quantity of rainwater smoothly and to protect a pump by promoting the drainage of a collecting well. The construction structure of a drain-type road comprises a collecting well(10) buried under a road surface(12) to collect rainwater, a rainwater discharge pipe(20) connected to the collecting well to discharge the collected rainwater, an air pump(30) composed of a housing(36) provided with an opening(37) and installed to the road surface, an elastic air bag(31) provided with a suction port(31a) and an exhaust port(31b) and installed to the housing to make the top exposed to the upper part and operating valves(32,33) attached to the suction port and the exhaust port, an air chamber(40) connected to the exhaust port of the air pump and provided with an air vent, a change-over valve(60) connected to the air chamber, a floater(70) attached to the inside of the collecting well to be reciprocable and composed of a movable arm connected to the change-over valve to operate the change-over valve and a buoyant valve installed to the end of the movable arm, and a drain pump(50) built in the collecting well, connected to the change-over valve and operated by pressure of air supplied through the change-over valve to discharge the rainwater stored in the collecting well to the rainwater discharge pipe compulsively. |
