<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-viscosity active ray-curable composition curable in high sensitivity with no ambient humidity influence, and excellent in the adhesion of the cured film to a base material, and the hardness, flexibility and light fastness of the cured film(slight in cured film discoloration and mechanical strength deterioration due to light irradiation), to provide an active ray-curable ink containing the composition, to provide a method for printed image formation using the ink, and to provide a new epoxy compound. <P>SOLUTION: The active ray-curable composition contains at least one epoxy compound of the general formula(1)( wherein, R<SB>1</SB>and R<SB>2</SB>are each H or an alkyl, excepting that R<SB>1</SB>and R<SB>2</SB>are not H atoms at the same time; R<SB>3</SB>is H, a halogen atom or substituent; n is an integer of 0-3; when n=0, J is a group having a nonaromatic carbon-carbon double bond as a partial structure; when n=1-3, J is a (n+1)-valent linkage group having a nonaromatic carbon-carbon double bond as a partial structure; multiple R<SB>1</SB>, R<SB>2</SB>and R<SB>3</SB>groups may be the same as or different from each other ). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
