摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for a battery, a motor vehicle, and a secondary battery capable of suppressing reduction in the calculation precision of SOC (state of charge). <P>SOLUTION: The controller for the battery for controlling the input/output of the secondary battery 10, mounted in a vehicle having a motor as a power source comprises a first SOC calculation section 3, a second SOC calculation section 4, and a determining section 5. The first SOC calculation section 3 integrates the current during charge and discharge of the secondary battery 10 and calculates a first estimated SOC of the secondary battery 10. The second SOC calculation section 4 calculates a second estimated SOC of the secondary battery 10, based on the charge and discharge history of the secondary battery 10. The determining section 5 compares the first estimated SOC with the second estimated SOC, and, when the difference is larger than the reference value, commands a controller for the vehicle (vehicle ECU 20) for controlling the motor driving to drive the motor, in order to make the variation width of the SOC of the secondary battery 10 larger. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p>
