AIR CLEANING SYSTEM FOR AUTOMOBILE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a compact air cleaning system for a vehicle capable of efficiently ventilating the inside of a cabin by alleviating a dehumidifying load of a car air conditioner as one of causes of deterioration in the fuel consumption of an automobile, and to eliminate dust and harmful chemical materials by efficiently filtering outside air supplied into the cabin.

SOLUTION: This air cleaning system for an automobile is provided with a filter device 4 provided with a filter 1 having a built-in dehumidifying material 1A and a built-in adsorbing material 1B so as to dehumidify or humidify and so as to adsorb or remove the harmful chemical materials and the dust, and a heat storage device 7 having a built-in heat storage body 8 so as to cool or heat ventilation air. This air cleaning system repeatedly performs an air supply mode operation for supplying the outside air 2 passed through the filter device section 4 into the cabin through the heat storage device section 7 and the exhaust mode operation for directly exhausting the cabin-inside air 3 passed through the heat storage device section 7 to the outside of the vehicle and for exhausting the high-temperature air which is exhausted from an operating device 9 of the automobile to the outside of the vehicle.
