<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf ball which can satisfy all of repellent property, a hitting feeling and durability. <P>SOLUTION: This multi-piece solid golf ball is equipped with a core which is formed of a base material rubber as the major material, an intermediate layer which covers the core, and a cover which covers the intermediate layer, and on the external surface of which numerous dimples are formed. In the golf ball, The Shore D hardness difference between the cover and the intermediate layer, the initial speed difference between the core and the ball, (the deflection stiffness of a spherical body for which the core is covered with the intermediate layer)/(the deflection stiffness), the total thickness (mm) of the intermediate layer and the cover, (the deflection stiffness of the golf ball/the deflection stiffness of the spherical body for which the cover is covered with the intermediate layer), and the Shore D hardness difference between the cover surface and the core center are respectively optimized. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
