PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching device at a low cost, which has an improved reliability by preventing a rotation of a reverse spring to which a torque is given from a stem. SOLUTION: The switching device 1 is provided with a central fixed contact point 3 and an outer fixed contact point 4 with a clearance on an inner bottom face of a housing 2, and while a framed base plate 7 of a metal contact 7a which is loaded on the above inner bottom face contacts all the time with the above outer fixed contact point 4, a tongue-shaped elastic piece 7b is positioned to face the central fixed contact point 3 to be connected or disconnected. On the metal contact 7, there are loaded a round bowl-shaped reverse spring, and a stem 9b of a driving unit 9 is arranged on a central part of the reverse spring so that the stem can be pushed down. Furthermore, in the inner bottom face of the housing 2, an upright wall 2a having a plane-view concave wall is formed near the outer fixed contact point 4, and when a engaging part 7c which is projected out in a diameter direction from the framed base plate 7a is engaged with the above upright wall part 2a, a rotation of the framed base plate 7a is controlled.
