GAS BARRIER FILM AND LAMINATE HAVING GAS BARRIER PROPERTY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas barrier film having an excellent gas barrier property and abrasion resistance, and a laminate having the gas barrier film. SOLUTION: The excellent abrasion resistance together with an excellent gas barrier property and transparency of the gas barrier film is obtained by the proper formation of siloxane bondings throughout the whole film induced by raising the crosslinking density of the silica matrix as a result of compounding of an amino group-containing hydrophilic polymer with a film prepared by compounding a silica matrix with a water soluble polymer having a hydroxyl group.
