PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal micro-particle dispersion for immobilizing a protein immobilizing (adsorbing) the protein, etc., such as an antibody in a high ratio because a prescribed amount of a specific stabilizer is adsorbed, stably maintaining a dispersion state without aggregating even during immobilizing and/or after immobilizing of the protein and thereby suitably usable for a bio-marker or immunochromatography, etc. SOLUTION: The metal micro-particle dispersion for immobilizing the protein comprises one or more kinds of stabilizers selected from a dibasic organic acid compound and/or a tribasic organic acid compound adsorbed on the metal micro-particle surface. The molar ratio (M<SB>MS</SB>/M<SB>M</SB>) of the number of moles (M<SB>MS</SB>) of the stabilizers to the number of moles (M<SB>M</SB>) of the metal of the metal micro-particles is within the range of 2-7.
