The invention is characterized in that the mobile unit consisting of the slide (3; 103; 203) and mobile motor element (6, 7; 146, 148) is mounted in a contactless manner onto at least one of the stationary parts, the guide body (2, 2', 102) and/or the stationary motor element (4, 5; 104, 105), using air-bearing elements (12, 14, 16, 18, 116, 118, 124, 126) and that the resulting effective centre of gravity of the driving forces of the linear motor (8, 9; 106, 107; 206, 207, 208), when considered from the perspective of the cross-section of the slide, substantially coincides with the combined centre of gravity of the mass of the mobile unit consisting of the slide (3; 103; 203) and mobile motor element (6, 7; 146, 148).</p> |
