PROCESS OF MAKING A NYLON MULTIFILAMENT YARN HAVING PROPERTY OF LATENT CRIMPABILITY AND TWO-TONE EFFECT

A method for manufacturing a nylon multi-filament yarn having the latent crimping property and two-tone effect is provided to use two kinds of polymers, thereby having an eccentric cross-section by the complex spinning. A complex spinning of two kinds of polymers having different shrinkage rates and amine end groups is performed in order to have an eccentric cross-section. Thereafter, the spun complex fiber is drafted by means of the speed difference of the first and second godet rollers. The difference of the turn number between the first and second godet rollers is below 1 and the turn direction of the first and second rollers is opposite to each other so that the twist is minimized. The heat setting is performed at the 80 to 120 degrees centigrade at the second godet roller and thereafter the complex fiber is wound by the speed of 2500 m/min to 5000 min/m by one step process. In the complex spinning process, the nylon with high shrinkage rate polymerized by nylon 6 and nylon 66 and the general nylon 6 are used.
