<p>A mobile robot (1) arranged to operate in an environment is described as well as a method for building a map (20). The mobile robot (1) is in an installation mode arranged to store representations of detected objects (19) in a storage means (7) based on detected movement in order to create a map (20). The mobile robot (1) is in a maintenance mode arranged to move in the environment using the map (20) created in the installation mode.
