A traveling control device of an excavator is provided to control the cornering performance of an excavator smoothly by reducing the flow rate of pilot signal pressure using advance and reverse pilot control valves. The traveling control device of an excavator comprises main hydraulic pumps(P1,P2) and an auxiliary pump(P3) operated by an engine(E), right and left traveling motors(13,14) operated with the pressure oil supplied from each main hydraulic pump, a control valve(10) composed of right and left control spools(11,12) to control the pressure oil supplied to the right and left traveling motors, a traveling operation device(20) provided with a left advance spool(21), a right advance spool(22), a left reverse spool(23) and a right reverse spool(24) to decompress the pressure oil discharged from the auxiliary pump and to generate traveling pilot signal pressure(X1,X2,Y1,Y2) respectively to be supplied to each hydraulic unit of the right and left traveling control spools through each pilot signal line(25,26,27,28), and an advance pilot control valve(30) and a reverse pilot control valve(40) installed on the pilot signal lines to reduce the flow rate of the traveling pilot signal pressure. |
