Provided is a hybrid composite sealing material for a flat solid oxide fuel cell stack, which ensures excellent airtight characteristics of a stack even under a low pressure, imparts improved thermal cycle durability to a stack, and improves the quality and stability of a stack. The hybrid composite sealing material for a flat solid oxide fuel cell stack comprises a substrate formed of glass, an inner reinforcing layer formed of a fibrous reinforcing material, and a surface reinforcing layer formed of a plate-like reinforcing material and stacked on either surface or both surfaces of the inner reinforcing layer. In the surface reinforcing layer, the plate-like reinforcing material is present in an amount of 5-60 vol%. The plate-like reinforcing material has a thickness of 0.2-1 micrometers and an aspect ratio of 5-50. |
