A mobile terminal for enhancing sensitivity is provided to minimize the output of power, reduce the output of noxious electromagnetic waves, and increase the duration of the battery by checking the received signal strength of each antenna and using an antenna with the best received signal strength. A mobile terminal for enhancing sensitivity comprises a hexahedral multi-antenna(100), a selection part(200), a duplexer(300), and an MSM(Mobile Station Modem)(400). The multi-antenna(100) comprises six antennas. The selection part(200) connects one of the six antennas to the duplexer(300). The duplexer outputs Rx signals, received from the selection part, to the MSM(400), and supplies Tx signals, received from the MSM, to the selection part. The MSM receives signals through the six antennas, checks the strength of each of the received signals, and outputs a control signal(SW_CTR) to control the selection part so that the selection part can select and use an antenna with the largest signal strength. |
