A polyester fiber with the excellent adhesion to PVC(Polyvinyl Chloride) and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to minimize the transformation of a shape due to the heat and then to have the stability. The polyester fiber has the condition an adhesion force to the PVC of above 11.0 lbs/inch and the dry heat shrinkage(190 degrees centigrade X 15 minutes X 0.01g/d in Testrite) of below 3.0% and the strength of above 7.5g/d. The polyester chip with the inherent viscosity of 0.7 to 1.0 is melted and spun so that the cooled and solidified non-draft fiber(10) is manufactured. Polyoxyethylene alkylamine and sodium dialkylsulfosuccinate are mixed with each other and then added into the spinning emulsion. Thereafter, the spinning emulsion is imparted into the non-draft fiber. Thereafter, the non-draft fiber is continuously passed through godet rollers(31,32,33,34,35) and drafted, relaxed and heat-fixed by the godet rollers. Thereafter, the drafted fiber is wound by a winder(60). The elongation ratio is 5.0 to 6.0 and the relaxation ratio is 8 to 15%. The temperature of the fourth godet roller of the godet rollers is maintained by the temperature of 230 to 240 degrees centigrade. |
