A developing method of an electrophotographic image forming apparatus is provided to improve the developing quality of the image forming apparatus only by controlling timing of applying a developing bias voltage to the image forming apparatus without using an additional device. A developing method of an electrophotographic image forming apparatus includes a step of applying a bias voltage to a developing roller, a toner supply roller and a blade and waiting for a predetermined period(S1), and a step of driving the developing roller and the toner supply roller and developing an electrostatic latent image formed on a photosensitive drum after the lapse of the predetermined period of time(S3).
